How It WorksCulture in the Morning, Adrenaline in the Afternoon
The combo is built around the rhythm of an Abu Dhabi day. Mornings are cool and the Grand Mosque is at its calmest; afternoons are made for an air-conditioned indoor theme park. So we front-load the sightseeing and finish with Ferrari World, leaving you buzzing rather than footsore. The same private car and driver-guide carry you the whole day, so there is no working out taxis, bus connections or parking between the capital’s icons and Yas Island.
The Morning: Abu Dhabi’s Icons
A guided sweep of the landmarks that define the capital, before the midday heat.
The Afternoon: Ferrari World
The world’s largest indoor theme park on Yas Island — world-record thrills and family rides.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Explained
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi sits under an enormous red roof on Yas Island and is the world’s largest indoor theme park — which, in a city where summer afternoons are hot, is exactly why it works so well as the second half of your day. It is entirely Ferrari-themed, from the rides to the Galleria of classic cars, and it packs genuine world-record thrills alongside gentle family attractions.
Formula Rossa. The reason many people come: the fastest roller coaster in the world, launching you from 0 to 240 km/h in under five seconds using a hydraulic system borrowed from aircraft carriers — riders even wear protective goggles. It is a genuine bucket-list ride and the headline of any Ferrari World visit.
Flying Aces & Turbo Track. Flying Aces pairs the world’s tallest non-inverting loop with one of the steepest coaster drops, themed around 1920s aviation. Turbo Track fires you vertically through the roof of the building for an open-air view of Yas Island before dropping you back inside.
Fiorano GT Challenge. Two duelling coasters race side by side along a track inspired by Ferrari’s own test circuit, so you and a friend can go wheel to wheel. It is one of the most re-ridden attractions in the park.
For families & younger visitors. Ferrari World is not only for adrenaline junkies. Bell’Italia is a gentle drive through a miniature Italy in a scaled-down GT California; Junior GT lets kids learn to drive a Ferrari on a junior circuit; and Benno’s Great Race, the Driving School and interactive zones keep younger children busy for hours.
The Galleria & heritage. Between rides, the Galleria Ferrari displays a rotating collection of iconic road and race cars, and the factory-tour experience shows how a Ferrari is designed and built. For fans it is as much a museum of the marque as a theme park — part of what makes the day appeal to adults as well as kids.
Hour by HourYour City Tour + Ferrari World Itinerary
Here is how a typical combo day runs. Timings flex slightly with traffic, the season and your hotel location, and on a private tour we adjust the pace to your group — if the kids want one more lap of Formula Rossa, you are not waiting on a bus timetable.
What Is Included?
Here is the honest, complete answer. The tour is fully private — your own vehicle and guide — and the only per-person cost is the Ferrari World ticket, which we arrange for you.
- Private air-conditioned 4×4 (up to 6)
- Hotel / residence pickup & drop-off
- Licensed English-speaking driver-guide
- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque guided visit (free entry)
- Photo stops at every landmark
- Bottled water on board
- All tolls & parking
- Pay on arrival — no deposit
- Ferrari World entry ticket (AED 345/person)
- Qasr Al Watan entry (AED 65/person)
- Louvre Abu Dhabi entry (AED 63/person)
- Lunch & food inside the park
- Gratuities for your guide (optional)
Private Combo vs the Big Bus + Ferrari Package
The main alternative is the Big Bus hop-on-hop-off + Ferrari World package. It is fine for total independence over a day, but the sightseeing is a fixed open-top bus route with recorded commentary, you wait for the next bus at each stop, and you are exposed to the midday heat. Our combo is a private, guided, air-conditioned day that takes you directly between the mosque, the palace and the park — and because the car price is fixed for up to six, it is usually better value for families.
| Our private combo | Big Bus + Ferrari | |
|---|---|---|
| Sightseeing | Private car & live guide, direct | Fixed open-top bus route |
| Comfort | Air-conditioned, door-to-door | Open-top, wait at each stop |
| Ferrari World | Full afternoon, entry arranged | Included (separate voucher) |
| Price basis | Flat AED 599 car (up to 6) | Per person (AED 470–560+) |
| Best value for | Families & groups | Solo independent sightseeing |
How Long, When to Go & What to Wear
How long you need at Ferrari World. Most visitors find four to five hours is right for the main rides at a relaxed pace, which is what the combo allows. Serious ride enthusiasts who want to repeat Formula Rossa and Flying Aces several times might prefer longer — in that case we shorten the morning or start earlier so you reach the park sooner.
Best time to go. Weekdays are generally quieter than weekends. Because the park is indoor and air-conditioned it is comfortable year-round, which is why it pairs so well with the outdoor morning sightseeing in Abu Dhabi’s warmer months. Hit the big three coasters first while queues are shortest, and single-rider lines can save serious time.
Grand Mosque dress code. Women wear loose clothing covering arms and legs plus a headscarf for the prayer halls (free abayas are available at the entrance); men wear long trousers and sleeved shirts. Inside Ferrari World, normal theme-park clothing is fine — bring comfortable closed shoes, and note that loose items must be stowed on the thrill rides.
Heights & children. The big coasters have minimum height requirements (typically around 130–150 cm), so tell us your children’s ages and heights when you book and we will flag which rides they can enjoy — there is plenty for shorter guests either way.
More On Yas IslandSwap or Add Another Yas Island Park
Ferrari World is the headline, but it sits on Yas Island alongside Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi (a fully indoor park themed around Batman, Superman and Looney Tunes), SeaWorld Abu Dhabi (one of the largest marine-life parks in the region), and Yas Waterworld. Because the day is private and flexible, we can swap Ferrari World for any of these at that park’s ticket price — Warner Bros. World for younger children, SeaWorld for animal lovers, Yas Waterworld for hot days — or arrange a two-park combo for a longer stay. Just tell us who is in your group and what they love, and we will shape the afternoon around it.
From DubaiDoing the Combo as a Day Trip from Dubai
If you are staying in Dubai, this combo makes a superb full-day trip. We collect you from your Dubai hotel in the morning, drive the coastal route to the capital (about 90 minutes), run the sightseeing and the Ferrari World afternoon, and return you to Dubai in the evening — about 11 to 12 hours door to door, with round-trip transfers included in the AED 599 price plus the Ferrari ticket. It is the most efficient way to add both Abu Dhabi’s icons and the world’s fastest roller coaster to a Dubai holiday. See the full Abu Dhabi City Tour from Dubai for the day-trip detail, or the in-city Abu Dhabi City Tour for sightseeing without the park.

Is the Abu Dhabi City Tour with Ferrari World Worth It?
For most visitors, yes. On its own, reaching the Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Watan and Yas Island in a single day means a string of taxis, ticket queues and logistics; the combo folds all of it into one private, guided, air-conditioned day at a flat car price. You see the spiritual and the futuristic sides of Abu Dhabi, the adults get their sightseeing and the children get the world’s fastest roller coaster, and you pay only when you arrive. The travellers who might skip it are those who want to spend a whole day inside the park with no sightseeing, or who prefer to explore the city slowly over several days — but for a first visit that wants both culture and thrills, it is one of the best-value days in the UAE.
