Is VIP good value?
Shared 4×4 (AED 120) + single quad (AED 150) booked separately = AED 270. VIP is AED 250 — AED 20 less, with front-row majlis seating on top.

What a VIP majlis actually is
A majlis is the Gulf’s traditional sitting room — carpets, low cushions, lanterns — recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Ours sits on the front line of the stage: you watch the belly dance, LED Tanoura and fire show from proper back-support seats while gahwa (Arabic coffee) and dates are served on arrival.

- 14:45–15:30: Shared 4×4 pickup from your hotel or home in Dubai or Sharjah.
- ~15:45: Tyre-pressure stop, then 45 minutes of dune bashing in the Al Awir desert.
- Sunset: Photo stop on the sunset ridge.
- Camp arrival: Fast-track entry — gahwa and dates served at your front-row majlis.
- Afternoon: Camel ride, sandboarding, henna and Arabic costumes for photos.

Gentler dune option: pregnant guests and anyone with back, neck or heart conditions can skip the bashing and take the smooth track straight to camp.
Seating: carpeted majlis with back-support seats and table service — no getting up and down from floor cushions.

Children: under 3 join free; from age 3 the driver takes a gentler dune line on request.

Yes — a 30-minute single-seater quad session is included in the AED 250 VIP price. If two of you want to ride together, a 2-seater quad is available as an AED 250 add-on.
Should I book VIP or private for the Dubai desert safari?
They upgrade different things. VIP upgrades your evening at the camp — the seats, the quad, the table service. Private upgrades your car — your own 4×4 with your own driver for AED 600 per vehicle (up to 6 guests). Book both if you want the full experience: AED 250 per person for VIP plus AED 600 per vehicle for the private 4×4.
Is the VIP transfer private or shared?
Shared — pickup and drop-off are in a shared 4×4 from Dubai or Sharjah. If you want your own vehicle, add a private 4×4 for AED 600 per vehicle.
Is the BBQ dinner the same on VIP?
Yes — the same BBQ buffet with veg and non-veg options. VIP guests use a priority line and have drinks served to their table in the majlis.
Is alcohol served on the VIP desert safari?
No. The camp serves no alcohol. Unlimited water, soft drinks, tea and Arabic coffee are included, with drinks served to your majlis table.
How many guests share a VIP majlis?
Each majlis seats 4–8 guests. Couples get their own majlis; larger groups sit in adjoining majlises.
What are the pickup and return times for the VIP safari?
In winter (roughly October to March), pickup is 14:45–15:30 and you are back 21:00–21:45. In summer (roughly April to September), pickup is 16:00–16:30 and you are back 21:45–22:00.
Is the VIP safari good for families with small children?
It is the most comfortable option for families — carpeted majlis seating with back support, table service and fast-track entry. Children under 3 join free. From age 3, gentler dune driving is available on request.
