When the AED 250 option is not your best buy
- Children under 12 in the group. Quads are for ages 12+, so a younger child cannot use the included quad. From age 3 everyone pays the standard price. For them, shared 4×4 (AED 150) plus the VIP majlis add-on with live BBQ (AED 80) is AED 230.
- You don’t want the quad or the VIP seat. The shared 4×4 evening is AED 150 with the same camp, dinner and shows.
- You have a car. Self-drive is AED 40 and you can add only what you want.
- You want the whole vehicle to yourselves. The private car is AED 700 for up to 6. The AED 250 option is a shared 4×4.

The evening programme, step by step

- From 2:30 PM: Shared 4×4 pickup from your hotel, home or mall.
- Around 4:00 PM: Tyres down and dune bashing in a Toyota Land Cruiser. Ask the driver for a gentler line if you prefer.
- Before sunset: Photo stop on a high dune.
- Camp arrival: Arabic coffee, tea and dates. Your VIP majlis seat is reserved.
- 6:30 PM: Hot starters of pakora, samosa and tea. Camel ride, sandboarding, henna and Arabic costumes. Your 30-minute single-seater quad session, in the designated area (12+).
- Around 7:30 PM: BBQ buffet, veg and non-veg, served while you stay in the VIP majlis.
- 8:00 PM: Belly dance, LED Tanoura and fire show, watched from the front of the majlis.
- 9:00–9:30 PM: Drop-off back at your pickup point.

The quad included in the AED 250 evening is the standard 30-minute session in the designated quad area. For a guided ride on the open dunes, add the 20-minute open-dunes quad safari (AED 300 single, AED 400 double).

Teens and adults who want speed
The quad is in the price. For more, add a double quad (AED 200) or long dune bashing (AED 150).

Safety, and who should skip dune bashing
- Pregnancy, back, neck or heart conditions: skip the dune drive and go straight to camp. Everything else stays the same.
- Children: under 3 join free; dune bashing from 3; camel rides from 4; quads from 12 to drive.
- Motion sickness: eat light at lunch, take a front seat if one is free, and tell the driver before the dunes.
- Wheelchair users: the camp is on firm, level ground next to the vehicles. Tell us on WhatsApp so we arrange a suitable vehicle.
Ramadan and public holidays
The evening safari runs every day in Ramadan. The belly dance and Tanoura shows pause in Ramadan and on religious holidays. Dune bashing, the quad, camel ride, sandboarding and dinner go ahead.
“Best experience of our trip. The dune bashing was thrilling but felt completely safe, and the BBQ dinner at the camp was delicious. Booking on WhatsApp was so easy.”
“We did the self-drive option to save money and it was honestly fantastic value. Same camp, same activities, a fraction of the price. The sunset was unreal.”
“So much quieter than the Dubai desert. Our driver was excellent and added the long dune bashing for us. The quad bike add-on was the highlight for my son.”
“The overnight safari was magical. Stargazing, the Bedouin camp, sunrise over the dunes — worth every dirham. Highly recommend the VIP majlis seating.”
“Transparent pricing, replied instantly on WhatsApp, and no hidden charges. The belly dance and fire show were brilliant and the kids loved the camel ride.”
“Booked the camel trek for sunset and it was the most peaceful hour of our holiday. Beautiful dunes, lovely team, easy WhatsApp booking. Will be back.”
