Camp Life at Liwa
Once the sun drops, the ridge goes quiet fast. There’s no music, no other campsites in sight — just your group, the fire, and dunes in every direction. Dinner is simple and Bedouin in style: grilled meats, rice, salads, tea. After dinner, most guests just sit out with a blanket and watch the sky — this is one of the few places in the UAE dark enough to see the Milky Way clearly.
Timings
Pickup is midday from Abu Dhabi, with the return drive arriving back in the city mid-morning the next day. Exact pickup time is set when you book, based on your hotel or residence location and the season’s sunset time.
